since your crunched for time, try something you have already read, and already know they story of, if you need it to be from a play what plays have you already read? If it can be anything what books have you already read?

If it can be from literature try these books:
Memoirs of a Geisha
Anything by Amy Tan (she is the queen of the literary monologue)
The Devil Wears Prada
The Nanny Diaries

Look at Mabels monologue in the Ideal husband or mariane’s in Tartuffe both plays are readily available online
