That really says something about how effective it is, doesn’t it?

most people here refer to it as “BS” legistlation… because that pretty much sums up what it is.

I fail to see how its effective to ban a breed. The irresponsible people who own aggressive dogs are not going to follow the law.. they will just get another dog of that breed- they dont care if it gets taken away.. or they will just simply choose another breed of dog and train it to be aggressive.

They need to crack down more on pet ownership.. not on breeds themselves.

It certainly does!

Where I live we are a victim of BSL and it really gives me the pips. I would dearly love to see a well-bred Dogo Argentino, but no, they are banned.

BSL is highly inaffective anyway. I have seen many APBT and their mixes being passed of as Staffordshire Bull Terriers (which are fine to own here) in my area. It sort of makes me giggle inside.

I live in Ontario where pitbulls have been banned since 2006, all it has created was terrible BYB of pitbulls which just created more attacks giving them an even worse name. Dog’s aren’t the problem its the person holding the leash that should suffer. Along with the BYB’s who are looking for a paycheck instead of a proper home for there pups
