Q&A: How amusing is it that the northern hemisphere didn’t accept the originally proposed ELV’s?
Do you Aussies out there think it amusing that if England etc had excepted the ELV’s as was proposed and played in the south England would have won as nearly all the penalties would have been short arm. LOL

That is an excellent point. Some of the ELVs are great like the 5 metre at scrums and can’t pass the ball back into quarter. Don’t like the ideal that it is legal to pull down a maul. That is one that should be dropped quickly.

i reckon that is good ieda but im happy to see different rules to show how it works for everybody to play better and good sport.

Not really considering the Aussies are the ones pushing for the new rules because they can’t put bums on seats while in the Northern Hemisphere crowds were (and still are) getting bigger despite the attempted butchering of the sport, after all even if they did win it wouldn’t have mattered because it would have a been a watered down version of rugby for simple people to enjoy. Only 3 ELVs have been a success in my opinion: 5 metre back at scrum, corner flag not in touch and quick lineouts can be thrown backwards. They can keep the rest.
