Q&A: I find it quite comical that Ted Kennedy’s Senate seat was filled by a Republican, does anyone else?
FOR THE RECORD I’M NOT A REPUBLICAN, I’m a constitutionalist. I abide by the Constitution and The Bill Of Rights. I live by the motto “Live free or die.” Any American that thinks that social welfare and health care programs will bring about some “inspirational” change in this country. It won’t. Reliance on the Federal Government is never the answer to real construtiveness. People have to produce for themselves and not expect everything handed to them.

Ironic? Wonderful? Yes.
Answer by The Blunt Ugly Truth
No. Scott Brown is pro-choice liberal RINO.
The teabaggers are gong to disown him soon, just like they hate Olympia Snowe and Collins.

Think ironic better defines it. Also the health care bill that Kennedy championed will be killed because he died…. unreal.

It’s Mary Jo Kopechni’s revenge.

YES!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I CAN’T STOP LAUGHING THAT SOMEONE WON AN ELECTION!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Comical the libs are whining about it, yep.
It’s kind of like the way you get a donkey’s attention when trying to get it to do something. Take a stick and whack him right between the eyes. Now that he’s paying attention, you can get stuff done with him.
Sad. >>>
I find it quite tragic that Ted K`s passenger seat drown.
So do I.
And it’s even more comical to me about those who think this is a blow to President Obama.
What many fail to realize is this:
1. President Obama and his family will have very good health care insurance for the rest of their lives.
2. The Senators who are blocking the health care reform bill also have good health care insurance.
3.. The people in Massachusetts already have health care, thanks to Ted Kennedy. So they can care less about the rest of the population who doesn’t have it.
So while those who pat Massachusetts on the back for a job well done, they really don’t understand that the last laugh will be on them.
Now that’s funny.
Comical – not really. More like a signal for the end of an era. The influence of the star-crossed Kennedy’s has been on the wane for a long time. The current crop are lessers sons of greater sires. Why else would Hillary win MA during the primary after the Kennedy’s endorsed Obama and why else would Caroline go running from the NY senate race in humiliation? In the final analysis, this may actually help the Democrats, who will now be able to wiggle out of the Health Care bill while pointing the finger at the Republicans for its failure, an overture aimed at the 47 million who have no insurance. Remember, the Dems may not have a super-majority any longer, but they still have a majority and a year of playing with house money to do a great deal of what the neocons would call mischief.
it’s one of the biggest blunders in politics ever . Obama don’t get a pass on this one . As the leader of the democratic party he should have made dam sure their was a competent democrat to replace Teddy Kennedy.
Comical? Interesting. Both parties and their power-corrupt politicians should be hog tied and taken out to sea for proper disposal.
Would be nice to start over in this country.
I find it interesting however as an independent voter I do not recommend the republicans to be too cocky.. Remember elections like a sport is won one game at a time.I was glad to see Mr. Brown win but that does not mean I turned republican either.
Looks like Boston has a new curse!
Hallelujah !!
Tell me that when you get sick,,and need health care or you employer tells you he’s not offering health care anymore because its too expensive..Or your denied coverage because you or one of your family members have a prexisting condition..See if its comical when every piece of legislation is blocked by Republicans simply because NOW they can.. When you realize that Republicans only want power,,and couldn’t care less about anyone besides themselves and their party,,much less America,,will you find it comical?? So if your Rich or a Big Businessman,,I’m sure you find this development very comical .. However, when NOTHING is done for WE THE PEOPLE,,THEN,,will your laughter be satisfing?? Division and Obstruction,,creates only more division and anguish..Research the Riots of the sixies,,and find out WHY they occurred. Today the Rich and Big Business are FILTHY Rich,,at the expense of the average working person. The poor are poorer,,and the next generation will do WORSE than the previous one..This is the worst of times for the American worker..One third of ALL mfg and businesses have been exported by The Rich and Big Buisness in the last twenty years.. And the GAP between Rich and Poor is now OBSCENE !! The goal of the Right conservatives and Republicans is to deregulate ALL business regulations,,eliminate ALL social programs and dissban organized labor !! They have already broken the backs of the UNIONS in America.. Since the seventies when America was 78 percent unionize to day when it is 14 percent unionized. Politicians have all the benefits most Americans took for granted thirty years ago, and Americans have none of them.. Wages,,benefits, pensions, and health care!! All GONE ,,but THEY still have them.. Do you STILL think its comical !! If you do,,then your a fool !!! SCARBORO
What I find comical is that 1) he is a RINO 2) he violates most of the Republican Moral standards 3) he pimped his daughters during his acceptance speech 4) he campaigned by putting down what Republicans have done for the last 10 years and the Republicans love him for it. At least right up until he has been sworn in then watch the accusations fly and the calls to replace him with a “True Conservative”.
