Q&A: What do you consider to be the definition of humorous?

Every time I think I think I am being mildly humorous, my answer to a question gets deleted What makes something genuinely humorous to you? What should it have? What shouldn’t it have? I have been told off by someone who posed something that made me laugh and it wasn’t supposed to be a joke. Why is this happening? Am I just that out of touch?

The fault is surely not you. This place is run by idiots. It is not surprising that your answers are deleted if they are intelligent, observant, imaginative, or creative. The people in charge of deleting appear to be minimum wage workers and their abilities, to the extent they exist, are similarly minimal. YA knows you get what you pay for, and they clearly are not concerned about this.
