This kind of run out comedy is being repeated by the Aussies of late.
In the second test Murali Vijay was 49 when an easy run out was presented. It was missed and Murali Vijay went on to make not only his maiden hundred, but big one at that.
Coming to this episode, a) Haddin should have thrown the ball to Watson. Why he chose Clarke? Probably he wants to be in the good books of Clarke, as he is tipped to succeed Ponting; b) Clarke should have lobbed the ball to Watson; c) Otherwise he should have ran to the stumps and removed the bail; d) Watson should have moved forward, why he chose to move back?e) Clarke might have wanted to have the credit for running out hence he acted in a selfish manner.
