Get to know yourself. Then learn how to forgive yourself for
what ever it is that bothers you. Then you’ll start loving your
self. Once you do that you can enjoy your own company.
No one enjoys the company of a a**, right? So stop thinking
of yourself as being one.
All this is easier said than done but you can do it over
time. In the meantime don’t let your mind dwell on anything
that you wouldn’t want to get cough doing.

Just like me. I have “no” friends to speak of, but I’m happy with my work

I attempted to do this about 3 years ago. I bought a old hunting camp in northern Maine. No television, no computer, I even cut my own firewood. I loved it! However, due to financial difficulty’s I had to move back into a urban environment.

To occupy my time, I set up a schedule kind of like something you would set up for a child. I woke up, made my bed, took a shower, ate breakfast, then I would clean my home inside and out. I would work on sculptures for an hour a day, I would read for at least 2 hours. Paint for a hour or so. After about a year of this lifestyle, however, I found that I was talking to my dogs and cats as if they where people. That set off alarms that I needed more interaction.
