Q&A: Are we voting for a celebrity to the White House?

Obama tops McCain as football-watching buddy

Since when do we vote who would be the best to drink beer with around the boob tube during the play offs?

This election is a complete joke. Obama is unfit to serve as CiC period.
its a poll in Yahoo today
Can see the Obama supporters don’t read the Yahoo news… tisk tisk tisk

Obama? He is so effeminate.

Answer by Joan S
I haven’t seen any celebrity candidates. Is Schwarzenegger running? I thought he was Austrian.

Answer by mo
I don’t care who I would want to have a beer with, I care who would run the country better and it is not McCain/Palin.

Answer by Larry O
I agree. Obama is dangerous.

Um, I dont think that football watching poll is why people are voting for Obama. Just a guess.

They are voting for him because of his positive message and his intellectual approach to problem solving.

Oh, I should say an EXCOMMUNICATED baby-killer. Way to go, Joe!

McCain is too old to be a celebrity. We need a celebrity in the White House, maybe then we can regain the trust other countries USE to have in us.

I guess you must have thought Ronald Reagan, the Hollywood movie star, was a terrible President.

Face it: people do vote in part based on how much they identify with the candidate. It’s always been that way, and it always will be that way.

I’d rather watch a game of football with McCain than Obama any day. Obama is the out of touch elitist that bowled a 37 in Altoona, PA! I’m sure he knows nothing about football!

Don’t the Republicans have their own celebrity to worry about?

  6. Alex J says:

    No.

    That’s why I’m voting the Obama/Biden ticket.

And btw, this poll was a waste of time, energy and money.

Proves the mentality of some people.

I’d rather have a president that I can have as a Science Channel Buddy.

You said it exactly! Everyone critized McCains ad that was saying he was the next ‘celebrity’ yet I watched CNN last night where it stated McCain spent around 52% towards negative Obama ads and Obama spent 77% yet know one talks about that! ~ Sorry off subject!
I truly think alot of the Obama supporters on here are just youngters that can’t even vote, they just say what they think is popular right now. There is even a question from a girl saying how could we not for Obama…That he was young, black and really cool! That goes to show that people aren’t paying attention to whats really impotant during this election, Oh and I love the questions and replys on here that says if you don’t vote for Obama that you’re just racial! I can’t wait untill the 26th so can we finally see the two debate face to face!
