Question: How do I get an bat (animal), but not as a pet.?

The ANIMAL not baseball. I do not want it/them as pet(s), but the insect population in my area is nothing to joke about but im getting practically eaten alive!

build a bathouse, just like a birdhouse

we built one and about a week later bats moved in, and they’re great. No moths or mosquitos when you sit outside at night, and you get to watch the bats zip around
