Q&A: How do i start an inside joke with a girl?

I have a girl who is my frend and one time in class we were assigned groups and she was in my group. We had to write a song with sound effects and her sound effect was “moo moo”. Then mine was “oink oink”. we performed the song and had a good time. a couple days later i txted her “OINK OINK MOOOOOOO!” then she replied “LOL”

would that be considered an inside joke?
if not, how would i start an inside joke with her?
