Question: How would you feel is someone referred to your child as a type of animal?
How would you feel if you were a regular in a chatzy room and then you go in there to find spam saying your child looks like a llama and needs to be petted posted all over it and having the spammer doing it as joke and thinking you shouldn’t get offended by it.

It’s over the internet, correct? One time someone was trying to be funny and told me I look like Ernest Borgnine…. Point being, don’t even give thought to it. Seriously, how much extra time do you have to have on your hands to make fun of a little kids looks over the internet?
Alot, thats how much. WAAAAY too much time on their hands.

I would be seriously pissed off. My daughter got called a platypus from a user on here who then thought it would be funny to make numerous accounts and emailing me and calling her names and making stupid duck jokes.
It’s worse because it’s always these types of people who can give out but if it was to happen to them….

I’d be incredibly mad at them. I’d most likely become extremely defensive at that point. Even though they were just trying to be funny, it would hurt. Don’t take it to heart. It’s just an insecure, pitiful loser with way too much time on their hands.
And them thinking you won’t be offended by it, is idiotic. Of course you would! You’re their mother! No one has ANY right to talk about your child in a negative manner.

Some people clearly have issues and simply want to get a rise out of you. I did at one time have a picture of my youngest daughter as my avatar, and some moron told me I was ‘raising a retard’.
I try to ignore them, it’s nothing to do with you or your child – it’s simply insecure, pathetic and desperate people who have no love in their lives.

I think that is not funny. Let them know they crossed the line, and cut ties (that’s what I would do). If they apologize and come begging back then maybe you can forgive them, but not if they can’t see why you are upset.

A llama? First I’d ask them if they played the sims…then I’d forget about it. I know my son is the cutest baby ever…why care what anybody else says, especially if they’ve never seen him before.

I’d be offended & it’s ridiculous to thing that you shouldn’t be. If you said their child ‘looks’ (not acts something cute like a monkey) like an animal and said that it needed to be pet, how would they feel?

I wouldn’t be offended so much as it would be a reality check for me. You never know who you’re talking with on the internet and you really shouldn’t be sharing photos of your kids with people like that. I think if it happened to me it would cause me to think about the people with whom I’m associating and whether or not my actions were endangering my child. It makes me sick the thought of a sex-offender beating off to a picture of my child and unless you can confirm every single member of your chat room, you really don’t know.
I think i may be upset about it a little bit, do you know the person who said it.
I’d ignore it on the internet, but I call my kids monkeys all the time.
First of all, I would be disturbed by the fact that complete strangers have access to photographs of my children.
Other than that, I’d brush it off. People on the internet can be idiots, and they just want to get a rise out of you. Don’t feed the trolls – ignore them, and they’ll move on to more fertile ground.
Well first of all, you know it’s not true. You know your daughter is a beautiful young lady. Don’t let faceless idiots online get the best of you.
People online do not know you on a personal level, therefore their words should have no meaning to you. Don’t take online idiots seriously.
Second, things like that are exactly why I left chatzy a long time ago.
