it was the house who passed a debt bill with over 4 trillion in cuts, which would have kept out AAA credit rating, and it was rejected by the senate, don’t blame the repub and tea party, blame the dems who rejected a constitutional amendment to balance the budget because that screws up their big spending and buying socialist votes to keep a socialist pres happy
No, I am not, but It might get the President to do the right thing, but seeing what he did last night, I think they are still living in a fantasy land. One of the reason’s why we got downgraded was that the Dems, Republicans, and Tea party was fighting each other. SO what did our President do, put start attacking the Tea party. Of course he wasn’t listening when S&P stated we needed to cut more then the proposals made on the budget .
The Tea party and Mitch McConnell and the rest of the GOP leadership are relying on the only thing that they can control to win the next election.
One way or the other your deficit spending is going to end. Either the Tea Party wins and cuts the spending (preferable) or our Credit Rating will continue to decline and you are just simply cut off along with all the pains that comes with it.
Believe it or not this is proof that the Tea Party’s position of Fiscal Responsibility is correct.
We will either do it and fix things long term with some short term suffering or we wont and do ok short term while ending in cataclysmic suffering over the long term.
I’m not happy our idiot president is doing such a horrible job with the economy and putting us into dangerous debt that’s going to hurt this country for decades if not longer.
I am happy that these accounting firms are starting to hold us accountable like they didn’t do with Mortgage backed securities.
None of the good people in the Tea Party want a bad economy, that’s what they are fighting to avoid. They are the group that has it right, the smartest and most highly educated group in US politics. The group that understands issues and pays attention. If our country is to be saved, it’s the Tea Party that will do it.

I’m happy they downgrade the audience well they should have known walker used nazi tactics on wisconsin most there don’t like It that crowd was so small more people showed up for my birthday party over the weekend I had mine at a 5K run this weekend the downgrade Is nobody trusted the TEA party anymore they killed america’s politics and economy they are responsible for the downgrade.
The US no longer deserves a AAA S&P rating. I see that it has also down graded Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, a move that probably came five or six years too late. Had it responded when these two agencies were giving away the store, perhaps things would be different today.

Once again, the Democrats take everything out of context. The real reason why we got downgraded is that this socialist president refuses to balance a budget & he doesn’t want to quit his out of control spending spree. The Republican held house passed a cut, cap, & balance bill, but the Democratic held Senate tabled it. Besides this president said he would veto any bill that included a balanced budget. How can you blame the tea party, when they are the ones actually trying to get spending under control & wanting to balance a budget. Wake up, every family in this country has to live on a budget, why shouldn’t the government!
