I’m indifferent; I sympathize for those who must suffer and struggle every day. I would never judge them; I’d do whatever I needed to do for me and my family to survive, too.

Huh, sure didn’t hear about that on the news. I was sort of indifferent with the issue since I felt it had hijacked the more important issue of border security but it’s good news none the less.

Am I happy to hear that they have to return to a place of extreme poverty, without hope of ever providing a living for themselves of their families? Not really.
I’m no fan of illegal immigration; it drives down wages and causes health risks.
BUT, I’m even less of a fan of people not having hope for a future. I’ve traveled to Ciudad Juarez several times, each time staying in Rancho Anapra, which is basically a shanty town. Most of the people who live there are decent, hard-working people who want to provide for their families, but who make about 50 pesos a day (about 5 dollars.) “But it is Mexico, everything is cheaper there” you might be wanting to say. You would be wrong. Produce was cheaper, but ANY manufactured products cost about what it costs in the US.
Could YOU live on $ 5 a day? How about if you had a wife and a couple of kids? Keep in mind that education in Mexico is free, BUT school uniforms are required (and costly), plus there is no school bus system, so students have to take (and pay for) the regular city buses. I don’t support illegal immigration, but I completely understand it.
Political reform in Mexico HAS to happen to make any kind of dent what-so-ever in illegal Mexican immigration.
