I guess only you know how serious he seemed when he made the comment. It doesn’t really sound like a comment that someone who was in a committed relationship would make. I guess you still have a bit of time up your sleeve to See how committed he is to you. If he makes more comments like that, or seems untrustworthy, then dump him for sure.
