Question: if there was a way to make ONE species of animal be able to speak and understand english, which do you choose?
i would say ravens. they would have all kinds of news from all over, and they would have the most grotesque dirty jokes to tell.

Only birds can travel so far, it would be nice to see what they have to tell.

monkeys, then i could ask them about the evolution thing.
elephants, it’d be so cool to see one talk and the size/unexpected speech thing would really freak ppl out.
i agree with the dogs. because they know so much about humans and they can actually kind of relate with us.

none, wouldn’t it be freaky to have an animal to talk to you and for a news-bird a pigeon would be better they are have a better memory for direction
I would have to say Orangutan they are always funny to look at. I figure they would also have something funny to say!
how about 40 million human babies since Roe Vs Wade made it legal to kill them in their mothers womb. I bet they would love to speak english….and tell all kinds of wonderful stories and do all kinds of fun things…..
I would choose the llama. I would choose the llama because its would be funny seeing a llama talk. In fact, we should put a accent on the llama’s english. How bout a New Yorker accent or ebonics….yea an ebonics talking llama…..NOW THAT WOULD BE SO COOL!!!!!!!
It would be like a llama comes up to you and says, “HEY! Where’s my money?” and you would be all, “Dog, I already told yo, Im gunna get it soon!” and the llama would say, “Wrong answer man!” and he would get all his llama gangster pals and like run through your hood or sumthin………wow, I got so into this answer……anyway hope this helps you or sumthin……i dont know……..
Cats, without a doubt. I would give anything to know what they think!
BTW, can they speak Spanish too?
Since I own cats, I have to say my cats. They are always climbing on my legs and meowing. Sometimes they act like they are not feeling well and I wish they could talk to me. I would hope the same for dogs too, I love dogs just as well.
dogs for sure. I want to know what my dog is thinking when I am talking to her and she cocks her head and her ears go up. I want to know what she is dreaming when her little legs start moving in the air and she makes little noises in her sleep.
I would choose a Parrot…………. most of them already know how to talk!
Mosquitos. If they could talk, people would be EVEN MORE annoyed with them. Meaning they would kill them all. No more bites. No more itching. No more talking mosquitos. The end.

Cats. I’d like to ask one whether they really are wise or if it’s just a big blank when they seem to be meditating.
Dolphins, cause their brains are bigger and more complex than ours. We may learn something from them.

the most useful and closest to us, the dogs!!!they’re not only fun to be with and faithful, they’re also useful and helpful like guard dogs, police dogs, guide dogs, search dogs, etc.
Dolphins because they already have a language and a social order among them. They are considered an a high intelligent animal already.
And of course, they can tell some might good tails! (tales)
They can tell if something is fishy or real!
A monkey or dog would be my next choices!
I would choose fish, they seem to have a pretty easy life!
