Q&A: Is it possible to go to sensitivity training classes voluntary?

And by voluntary I mean you weren’t forced by your employer for telling a racial, ethnic, gender, religious joke which seems to be the reason why people are in sensitivity classes. I wanted to know if anyone has gone to those things voluntary.
