Q&A: What is the best homemade gift you have ever received?

I need some good ideas for this holiday season! My best friend and I have made each other journals filled with inside jokes and pictures from magazines, along with collage boxes filled with memorabilia. I have made my boyfriend a box full of letters to read throughout the year, a coupon book, and teddy bears. I am terrible at sewing and am not that great of a cook. Tell me about your experiences in receiving homemade gifts!
