I can just imagine what would evolve from this don’t ask don’t tell policy.
A homosexual military member would take advantage of men sleeping.. they would also take advantage of injured military members – possibly exposing them to sexual acts.

With women in almost every military in the world do straight soldiers spend all day checking out them? No. Especially with a voluntary military, the people are there by choice, many as a career, a job. Maybe you spend your entire day at work oogling your coworkers but I doubt if that is the norm in the military.

What makes you think that that’s what they will do anyway? You make it seem like they join the military with a hidden agenda. Has it ever cross your mind that they enlist because they want to protect their country? Not because of all the men in the military?

So you say, all the heterosexuals will not look at the opposite sex in the military? So you say it is okay for heterosexuals to look but not the homosexuals. People have eyes. They will look. Don’t jump into conclusion that it would be their first priority and first reason why they join.
