Q&A: What computer should I get as a senior animation major?

I plan on running Adobe master suite and Maya 2010. I don’t know much about computer hardware. I know I should look for a good graphics card *headscratch* I’ll go for a desktop w/ two monitors. Those that use Maya, tend to run on windows and not mac (it just works better) so for compatibility I’ll probably go for a windows operating system. I need a Really good deal. I’m broke like no joke.
