Q&A: What would happen if men died out and women were the only gender left?
Let’s say that women have the technology to procreate without men through some sort of artificial sperm or something. What would the world be like? I’m looking for serious thoughtful answers, I can think of plenty of jokes and I don’t need yours.

Even if women found “artificial sperm” you would need to make sure that such sperm had no Y chromosome, otherwise men wouldn’t actually “die out”.

Mm, I think that we would miss men, come on, having strong arms wrapped around you is different. I’m sure the world would be ALMOST the same… i mean think of it, there are sporty girls, and “tom boys” etc. So they’d be more of the masculine figures in our life i guess!

Well it would be good if they died out slowly so that women could get used to not having men around. (I don’t think that men should die out or anything I’m just saying if they did…)I think women could do a pretty good job but there could be a lot of disadvantages too.

Well I guess the world would be full of lots of pregnant women. Of course they would have girls but also guys and eventially those girls and guys in the future could bring natural order back to earth.

It would be pretty intense. A lot more communication, probably a lot less confusion [womyn can be awful at communication and good with confusion also]. A lot of us would probably feel a strange feeling of resistance if they are really into the male attraction. But I honestly think a lot more would be rad, and a LOT more freedom, and equality, and a great deal of happiness and understanding. Just for a day, I would love to see, even though it would probably take a long time getting used to the fact and all. Oh, and things like periods, and everything for those who are embarrassed, probably would stop all that nonsense
Womyn could look outside at night without thinking about who is hiding behind the next tree, or wall, or walking around carrying knives and pepperspray for the next attacker.
I guess we would have to speed up research on stem cells…..
someone is bound to be pregnant at the time of all of the killings, since 45 babies are born every 10 seconds. so I bet that at least one of them has a boy. Those babies would reproduce enough to put the male-female ratio back to the norm.
God would not allow that. He made woman as a help mate not to rule the world.
well there are theories that the Y chromosome (the male sex chromosome) is slowly shrinking from existence. but if this scenario were to happen, eventually technology would become advanced to recreate the Y chromosome thus having men again into the world.
society as we know it would quickly end. Right now it is man in charge of suppling energy, food and water to all industrial countries. Within weeks the women would be still trying to figure out all these systems.Disease and starvation is next

The species would survive just fine. But if you have 1/2 of one, you are never whole without the entirety.
Lets see…. Less violence, No wars, no sports channels, women being able to walk to their cars in the middle of the night without worrying. might not be too bad. I’d miss them after a while though. Besides it not like it matters..It’s not like it’s going to happen.. so might as well accept the joke answers too.

Seriously they’d just artificially incriminate themselves. Technically I think it’s possible to extract the DNA from an egg and implant it into another, so that it becomes a zygote and eventually an embryo…….It would only be a matter a time for some of those pregnancies to result in male babies, and within a few generations, life will continue as normal. The first generation of males born as a result of the re-population project would have it real nice, it would be their duty as a member of the human race to impregnate as many females as possible.
……Although this would mostly be done by sperm donation. It’s better to have men then a world inhabited solely by women (I know a lot of feminist are going to thumb me down but, I’m being objective) Why? Because it’s never a good thing for your WHOLE species to have to rely on laboratories for it’s main method of reproduction. What if there’s a world wide disaster like a meteor hitting and, power is unavailable through out the planet? Good bye humanity….Also humans by nature feel the urge to pair up, most of the world is heterosexual women without men, would be as miserable as men without women whether they’d want to admit it or not. 
Women would be miserable for many reasons.
Women will never really admit it but men are very important to them.
The problem is that they are too egotistical to admit it.
Women cant do it on their own, especially as life has been set up now.
Of course many women will survive and artificially inseminate themselves.
The Y chromosome is not really weakening, it is going through a natural cycle as scientists have stated.
