Question: Where to get news on an uncommon interest?

When you want news on a narrow interest, where would you find it for free or for a reasonable amount? Is there this massive news aggregator to find everything? Currently, I´m mostly using Skygrid and I’m fairly happy (iPad app). I have also tried Google News.

Have you tried simply typing the name of the interest in search to see what you found on the subject?
