when in fact, with team getting whipped, was showing joking and laughing on sidelines? do they need to get rid of this no talent bum? ship him to cfl?

derrick anderson was so mad that the stupid media wouldn’t leave him alone for SMILING. i mean come on! even if you’re losing, does that mean you’re not allowed to smile with your teammates without the media getting in your face for it?!?

These reporters always try to make something of nothing. So he laughed a little at the end of the game. What do they want him to do. Cry like a little bitch?

First of all, Derek Anderson is not a very good QB and the Cardinals are not a very good team and I am not at all defending him as a player, but with that being said, that reporter was insinuating that Anderson doesn’t care that he sucks and the team sucks.
Just because he was caught cracking a smile during a blow out loss doesn’t mean he doesn’t care and for some pencil neck geek to question his desire and his heart and will to compete is out of line, that’s why he got pissed off.
Also, the replays show that he wasn’t joking or laughing, he merely smiled and chuckled slightly at whatever was said to him. Saying that he was laughing and joking is a huge exaggeration.

This was right after the game, Anderson just played a 3 hour football game and probably didn’t even remember the 4 seconds in which he was “caught” smiling (as if he’s not allowed). And the douchebag reported kept grilling him on it, as if he committed the crime of the century and the world deserves to know what he and his teammate were smiling about.

He got angry because he was busted and the reporter wouldn’t let the question drop. What’s really funny is that the bobbleheads on ESPN were talking before the game about what a talented guy Anderson and then he goes out and leads his team to another defeat. I don’t know who’s the bigger joke … Anderson or ESPN’s so-called experts.
