Hi,I did the following:
Question: Why do most of you people get so uptight about jokes on here?

A while ago, I asked what breed of dog they used to make hushpuppies. People got a few laughs, answered some witty jokes, then SOME uptight PETA minion that cares more about animals than their brain has room for in their logic center, and then reported the answer as if I ACTUALLY think about animals that way.

Why can’t some people laugh and take a joke?

Check the rules. It did not HAVE to be a PETA person – just somebody that believes the rules of the site are meant to be followed. You agreed to obey the rules when you signed up here; jokes like that simply are not allowed. So, you got zapped. Follow the rules, and it won’t happen.

Not many users are in the mood for any humor here because they can be either offended or irked very easily. Your question got deleted as a result of what you did. Remember the Community Guidelines is the law here, and you must agree to follow them. Jokes like that can and will get your account suspended, so you need to cut them out now before your account gets suspended in no time flat.

Edit: This site is for the serious people, and please refrain from joking around here at all costs.

I agree.
I see people on here who are very strict. They probably don’t like to hear jokes or are strict at following rules. I like to have a good ol’ laugh sometimes.

Because lots of people take this site rather seriously and maybe someone didn’t find your joke funny and they reported it.

I have just an opinion no basic of fact.maybe a bad life?I can take all harmless jokes.Yours was 100 percent harmless rules or not.when some get too much power they abuse it.
there are 100,s tonight that are mad about the same thing..I say exhaust all appeals.
