Question: Why do people keep making jokes about the whole Rhianna/Chris Brown thing?

What is so funny about a guy beating up his girlfriend, knocking her unconscious, and putting her in the hospital? So many people on here are making jokes about it saying “it’s ok to laugh because they’re celebrities”, or saying they don’t care that it happened to her because they don’t like her as an artist, etc. I don’t care who you are, NO ONE deserves to ever be put through something like that, and if you think its funny or she deserved it, then you’re a pathetic excuse for a human being.

I so agree with you. It is nothing to make fun of. I think people are just not realizing this happens to a lot of people on a daily basis. We don’t know how long this has been going on with Rhianna. People need to be educated

Wow. That is just sad. I, myself, am completely disgusted and horrified. I thought Chris was such a sweet guy, and then he went and did this. I don’t really like Rihanna, but this is just disgusting. Ugh.

Because they are famous. What people don’t realize is 1 in 6 of the people they know are getting abused in some way but because it doesn’t make the news, it seems less important.

It’s funny because this dumb bitch Rhianna is only dating Chris Brown because he, too, is a celebrity. Have you ever noticed the more open minded celebrities who date friends from their childhood are the one’s who end up in a successful marraige? Chris Brown is a dick too, but they are both stupid. Two ego’s that big can’t merge. That’s like having Mike Ditka and Dick Butkus on the same team. It might just cause the apocolypse.
