Why do white people laugh at racist jokes when other ethnic comedians tell them?
Hi,I did the following:
Question: Why do white people laugh at racist jokes when other ethnic comedians tell them?
If a white comedian says funny thingsbabout other races it’s racist, but if a Black, Hispanic or any other says a joke about whites, they laugh and carry on like it’s ok, isn’t it a double standard? I think so, I’m white and I’m not anybody’s, Punching bag, I think the people who say whites deserve are douchbags. The whites who believe whites deserve it are beyond belief. Make this clear I hate racism so don’t try to read into this as so, because MLK has it right EQUALITY!

How do you stop a black man from raping a white woman? Throw him a basketball. Wait, why aren’t you laughing yahoo answers?! Aren’t you for racial equality?! Oh the hypocrisy!

Some people no matter what race can laugh at themselves. Look at Dave Chappelle’s show he was basically making a joke off of black people. You have to have thick skin to take that kind of humor but eventually it will eat at you. I guess you mean if a white person makes fun of black people. There was one white comedian on an all black comedy show that did make fun of black people but his excuse was he was married to a black woman so he could get away with it. It’s all about confidence. Most comedians/comediennes can get away with anything. If it is not said in a malicious manner, they will laugh.

Because the squeaky wheel gets the grease, and white people don’t stand up for themselves as an ethnic group like others do. That would be considered racist as well I’m sure. In my opinion, a joke is just that, meant to make people laugh. People just need thicker skins now days we could use more laughter, and as long as derogatory terms aren’t used toward any ethnic group in the joke, what’s the harm?
